Better-Calf
Better-Calf supports the resilience of rural territories in NWE and the livelihoods of family farms by developing grass-based dairy calf systems. These production systems will be designed to have low environmental impact, low competition between human food and animal feed and improved animal welfare. This will be possible by proposing developing improved farmer decision support tools and co-designing commercialisation strategies to comply with the consumers need for high quality, affordable products.
